Job  Responsibilities

·        Carry out inventory-related finance and accounting bookings, reconciliations,

          period close, reporting and analysis.

Primary Accountabilities & Essential Functions

·        *  Inventory balances, inventory reserves, Received-not-Vouchered, and Goods

             -in-Transit.

·         

         * Ensure sub-ledgers tie off and reconcile to General Ledgers and support the 

           period-end  close.

·         * Manage finance systems (JDE) configuration, data set-up and electronic

             data interfaces.

·         * Periodic requirements for VAT, European Sales reporting, Intrastat and 

             other related reports.

·         * Harmonization of data flows in cooperation with supply chain and customer

             services departments.

·         * Participate in finance-related projects.

 Education

·         Bachelors or Diploma or Professional qualification in finance/accounting.

Experience

·         * 3-5 years in finance/accounting with proficiency in cost-accounting/reporting

Specific knowledge, skills, abilities required:

·        * Familiar with ERP/finance systems (ideally JD Edwards and/or SAP)

Job Title :- Business Lead - Procure to Pay R2P (m/w)

Job Responsibilities

      The Business Lead - Procure to Pay R2P leads and manages a multi-country 

      Requisition To Procure (RTP)

·     Basware implementation program for a selected group of countries within 

      Europe and Russia including a centralization of the transactional activity for the implemented countries. He drives Accounts Payable change  processes together

      with process standardization, as per blueprints defined by Finance Transformation

      team. He prepares affiliates and SSC for the SAP eShop implementation. This

       leadership role will report directly to the General Manager of European Shared 

       Services Center.

Job Roles

*      * Standardization of R2P process in EURMEA in line with Finance 

            Transformation guidelines.

 ·

       *   Driving integration of R2P process between Ciba Vision and Alcon. Support

            Legal Entity Integration project and ensure usage of one standard after the

            legal merge in the countries.

         *  Managing Basware implementation for Ciba Vision part of the Business 

              integrating to Alcon.

          * Set up and management of multi-country projects within assigned EURMEA 

            countries in order to ensure a smooth and effective transition from current 

            process to a standard Basware Requisition To Pay automated process and, 

            where applicable, Accounts Payable.

          * Centralization of the transactional activities.

          * Overall management of RTP cost and establishing compliance checks.

 Education:

·         University degree as a minimum, MBA preferred

 Experience

         *·    Strong success record in Systems implementation, particularly Basware

      ·         Team Leading & Change Management

   ·    *    Strong experience in standardization, performance measurement and 

               R2P operations

Specific knowledge, skills, abilities required

·       *   English mandatory, other European languages desirable

*      *   Ability to take initiative and embrace change

        *   Commitment to stretch targets, desire to go beyond average
