The individual will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing various Fixed Income Market Data, Analytics, Pricing, and Benchmark related systems and applications. Due to the nature of this role and the large amount of client interaction the candidate needs to comfortable talking to the business and have an understanding (or willingness to learn) financial markets.

Analyze, design and develop various Fixed Income Market Data, Analytics, 

Pricing, and Benchmark related systems and applications

To undertake Greenfield development to delivery whilst utilising and ensuring 

best practices are maintained

To liaise effectively with the business to ensure that stakeholder interests 

are maintained throughout the SDLC

To ensure that tight deadlines are maintained in a large, complex and fast

paced environment

The person: Senior Java Developer – Investment Banking – California, USA

(Core Java, J2EE, JDBC, Spring, JMS, JBoss, XML, Web Services, JUnit, 

T-SQL, Windows, UNIX, Flex)

Expert in Java. All tiers of Java, superior knowledge of Core Java, J2EE, JDBC, 

Spring, JMS, JBoss, XML, Web Services, JUnit.

Must be very strong with OO design. 

Must have excellent experience with T-SQL or SQL Server

Knowledge of both Windows and UNIX environments preferred

Knowledge of financial markets is a plus
