MUST HAVES:
Minimum 4+ years of experience using Java/J2EE and object-oriented
design principles
Strong experience with Java middleware rules technology such as JBoss
or Drools
Experience with frameworks like Spring
Experience with front-end technologies likeJSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript,
or Ajax
Experience in web services like Rest, SOAP, or JAX-RPC
Light Experience with web design and attention to graphics
PLUS:
Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite
Experience working with relational databases, including Oracle, SQL Server,
and MySQL
Experience with Eclipse, Netbeans, or equivalent IDEs
Unit testing tools JUnit or equivalent
Experience with mobile applications and SDKs (iPhone/Xcode, Android)
Experience working with and implementing third party e-commerce services
including, but not limited to: Payment methods (PayPal, Google Checkout),
Customer product reviews, Site analytics (Coremetrics), SEO/SEM, and and
on-site searches (Endeca, Google)
Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred.
Role:
This person will work as part of the technical team that designs, develops,
implements, and maintains web and mobile applications. He or she will work
closely with graphic designers and other development teams to ensure
successful implementation and integration of dashboards, rules systems,
and interactive web applications. This person will also convert specifications
and requirements into functional application code and works with front-end
designers to create functional web pages. He or she will interact with the
business and user community to gather and validate business requirements
and business rules. This is an active Agile/SCRUM environment. Finally, he
or she will definitely need to demonstrate a focus on quality (unit testing,
system testing, user acceptance testing).
