Role - Software Build & Integration Engineer
Salary - Up to £55k & Benefits
Location - Central London

Role Description
The Software Build & Integration Engineer is responsible for all aspects of 
the software build and deployment process, including configuration and 
distributing release artifacts.The Build Engineer will work closely with the 
Release & Change Manager and the Development, Support, QA and 
Infrastructure teams. It requires strong problem solving skills and 
excellent communication skills, combined with good technical ability 
and a pro-active approach.

Key Responsibilities

* Contribute to the strategy & vision of continuous integration and delivery 
   and owning the implementation.

* The continuous improvement & automation of the build & deployment 
    processes / strategies.

* Own & manage Dev environment

* Develop / maintain build & deployment scripts.

* Manage & maintain source control, continuous integration server.

* Support defect / issue tracking tools (e.g. Jira).

* Support & sys admin of Agile development tools (Atlassian).

* Contribute to defining development, test and release processes.

* Work closely with Project Managers, Development, Support and QA 
   teams to ensure that the tools being used meet their requirements

Desired Skills/ Experience

* Build and configuration management experience in a multi-team 
   environment.

* Expert knowledge of Continuous Integration implementations.

* Expert knowledge of Continuous deployment.

* Expert knowledge of maintaining build scripts (Ant, Maven).

* Good understanding of all aspects of the software development life 
   cycle.

* Knowledge of branching strategies and how to merge effectively.

* Experience of working with development teams to develop and automate 
    build processes.

* Ability to prioritise and organise

* Strong problem solving skills

Introduction
Our client is a medium sized, fast growing pharmaceutical company specialising in the proprietary brands and niche generic medicines. This role has opened in response to their increasing need to manage data generated from clinical trials, health economics assessments and market research. In this international role, you will be exposed to data from many clinical indications, and from our client's international subsidiaries. To be considered for this role you must have had previous experience of managing operational budgets as well as being competent in all aspects of data management.

Job Summary
Manage the generation of scientific data, including liaison with clinical trials' investigators, management of CROs, generation and dissemination of health economic models and data, market research and value model development for new technology. Specific tasks are listed below:

Screening trial proposals

Assist in development of trial protocols

Investigator site liaison

Management of CROs


Identification and development of appropriate HE models e.g. reimbursement, 
cost utility, cost effect, number needed to treat

Internal trial Budget Management

Liaison with Directors and Marketing and Development Heads

Essential Skills & Qualification
B Sc or comparable degree

Demonstrated experience in a data management role in Europe in an 
established CRO, pharmaceutical or generics company

Demonstrated experience of vendor management in data management

Data management experience in clinical trials, and ideally in health economics 
and / or market research

Experience managing data generated across multiple company sites

Software Competence: MS Office, and standard data management packages, 
including data from electronic CRFs
