    Our Leadership Stage- International Banking and financial services client's  Merchant Banking Division is seeking an experienced real estate deal professional to join the core M&A / capital advisory team in the Singapore office to focus on Real estate (income producing) M&A, capital raising and principal investment transactions.  This individual will be a “deal maker” in the Real estate market and will be responsible for sourcing and executing M&A and capital raising transactions within the client network of real estate investors and portfolio of assets, and will lead all business development efforts to source real estate opportunities from new client relationships.

     Our international client Bank offers an unparalleled opportunity to work as part of small client teams on major strategic assignments, providing meaningful exposure to senior bankers and client representatives. Candidates should be top performers who are willing to work hard in an unstructured environment where initiative, creativity, maturity and proactive enthusiasm for learning and driving business are highly valued. In addition to strong technical skills, the ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, experienced individual with solid M&A and capital raising experience coupled with strong network skills.
    Major Responsibilities

     75% Business Development functions to include but not limited to placing transactions, uncovering real estate  Investment opportunities and partnering with other groups within the Merchant Banking Division as well as with the Commercial Real Estate Banking group.
    • In an advisory capacity, evaluate growth objectives and deal opportunities for commercial real estate clients
    • Identify real estate  clients with a track record of strong performance and a need for additional equity capital investment, and help to facilitate the growth through the raising of capital
    • Advise commercial real estate clients on their M&A strategies and opportunities (i.e. buying or selling income property investment portfolio)
    • Partner with the Commercial Real Estate Banking group as well as groups within the Merchant Banking Division to deepen relationships with existing clients
    • Identify contacts, pitch deals to the origination teams, lead site visits, attend work group sessions with the underwriting teams, and negotiate deal terms
    • Originate deal flows through candidate’s proprietary network
    • Network, attend round tables and remain abreast of the latest market trends
    • Nurture relationships and identify new potential capital sources
    • Perform real estate market research on complex commercial properties
    • Successfully source prospective clients and collaborate with clients to identify their needs and deliver the full resources of  our leadership stage client Bank while providing a customized solution
    • Ability to quickly and effectively evaluate, summarize and present investment opportunities, often with little direction or oversight
    • Responsible for assisting clients in the structural considerations of each transaction, such as legal, tax and accounting
    • C-level client interaction contributing to the development and communication of proposals and advice with current and prospective clients
    • Identify, analyze and underwrite investment opportunities for the development of commercial properties across all property types, investment structures and risk profiles.



    20% Credit Quality/Risk Management
    • Oversee and create underwriting models and offering memorandums
    • Proactively addresses risk (including credit, BSA, AML, fair lending, market and reputation risk)
    • Balance the pursuit of earnings growth and financial performance with disciplined risk management
    • Manage the control environment to ensure audit, compliance and regulatory standards are met
    • Ensure safekeeping of bank and customer assets, including information
    • Support and ensure data accuracy and integrity
    • Manage and proactively address risk associated with changes in processes and procedures
    Supervisory Responsibilities

     This job has no supervisory responsibilities, but the right candidate will have the opportunity to build a team within the Merchant Banking Division focused exclusively on real estate M&A, capital advisory and principal investment transactions


    Desired Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor/Master/Doctorate in finance, economics, accounting or a related field
    • MBA or CFA strongly desired
    • Ideal candidate will have 10+ year(s) prior experience in real estate investment banking and, or real estate private equity
    • History of executed real estate transactions – deal sheet required
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial data, and governmental regulations
    • Open to international candidates

    • Minimum 15+ years consumer products, marketing or licensing experience required.

    The client is a key player in the Singapore food industry.  Reporting to the CEO, the Director of  HR (Generalist - Operations  and Administration) will be a member of the Executive Management team and be responsible for the human resources and administrative functions.   The Director of HR has primary responsibility for all personnel, compliance, employee relations, labor relations, and staff development. 

    Responsibilities:
    Provides leadership and supervision for Human Resources function including:
    • Develop and execute a human resources three year strategy
    • Compensation and Benefits Administration, preparing payroll files, leave and performance management
    • Develop formal training and development programs
    • Develop a Leadership Development Program for recent university graduates
    • Create and maintain employee records and files ( hard copy and electronic)
    • Coordination and management of all recruiting and sourcing processes
    • Responding to all internal and external requests for service, information, or data
    • Effectively lead and mentor staff
    • Manage the administrative function, which includes contract management, lease management, immigration processing, and managing our legal and IT consultants
    • Development and administration of the annual Human Resources and Admin budgets and participates in the monthly budgeting process


    Delivers high quality generalist human resources services including:

    • Facilitate mandatory and optional staff development, orientation, onboarding, and training programs
    • Management of all personnel job changes including hires, promotions, demotions, transfers, terminations, and resignations
    • Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises the administrative and human resources development activities of the company.
    • Provide professional advice and counsel to executives, managers, and supervisors across entire range of employee relations and organizational matters
    • Establishes and maintains policies and procedures for the human resources and administrative functions
    • Ensures fair administration of personnel in relation to recruitment, placement, classification, pay, labor relations etc. in accordance with approved policies and procedures of the company
    • Ensures compliance with the provision of the labor law and the policies of the company in the administration of both permanent and temporary employees
    • Ensures the provision of printing, communications and maintenance, custodian and janitorial services of the company
    • Ensures the provision of adequate medical care at the clinical level for all employees of the company, monitors payments of hospital and pharmacy bills in accordance with the company medical policy
    • Develops and maintains a company-wide performance management system, including 360 and upward feedback for senior management
    • Evaluates the performance of employees reporting to him/her and also develop training and/or performance improvement plans
    • Develop a formal succession plan strategy and plan
    • Maintain company and departmental organizational charts
    • Lead the selection and implementation of the Human Capital Management HRIS system


    In addition, the Human Resources Director will be responsible for other assignments as required.

    Requirements: Qualification and Skill


    • Bachelor/Master Degree in Human Resource Management, Management, Public Administration, or a closely related field
    • Minimum of 15+ years of increasingly responsible Human Resources administrative and supervisory experience
    • Principles, practices, and techniques of human resources administration and operation
    • Fully proficient in labor law, pension law, national and regional laws
    • Practices of effective leadership and management
    • Methods and techniques for proper personnel record keeping and reporting
    • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken, in English
    • Solid computer and technology skills
    • Lead, manage, and develop staff
    • Work independently and part of a team and ensure safe work practices
    • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization

    About the Role

    The Director-Marketing will lead a team to define, implement, monitor and refine the marketing strategy for the region to grow consumer demand for smart phones, tablets, wearable’s and accessories. 

    You'll develop propositions and launch campaigns that are optimsed for the region working with global and local markets to activate and implement campaigns that drive growth.  


    Responsibilities include:

    Ö        Target audience definition – analyse market research and shape target audience definition
    Ö        Value propositions – craft compelling value propositions that fundamentally address what experiences should be communicated to target audiences, detailing why consumers should buy products
    Ö        Future product requirements – ensure the needs of specific audiences are included in the roadmap for future products and services.  Using marketing models, insight and research - qualify and quantify the business impact of potential propositions that deliver growth in the region longer term
    Ö        Campaign management – optimize the strategy, plan and creative deliverables for all marketing campaigns.  Develop campaign and media frameworks to deliver creative that meets the regions marketing strategy
    Ö        Marketing plan – document the quarterly and annual marketing plan detailing marketing initiatives and priorities that deliver growth in line with business plans
    Ö        People management and development – lead, manage, develop and grow a team of highly skilled individuals in order to achieve objectives ands growth
    Ö        Influencing - build a network of relationships with executive decision makers across the region to ensure success



    What we're looking for

    We're looking for international Marketing experience specifically in classic FMCG, Mobile, Telco, Consumer Tech & Software sectors or from Content Providers.  Ideally you'll have the following:

    Ö        Experience leading high performing marketing teams to deliver compelling value propositions from consumer insight and research
    Ö        Experience leading teams to deliver compelling the region marketing programs to deliver growth - effectively communicating value propositions with complex global/ country stakeholders
    Ö        Extensive knowledge of local markets in the region
    Ö        Expertise in consumer needs and trends - core Consumer Insight/ Research experience through to Propositions, Product Marketing, Brand & Digital/ Social
    Ö        Comfortable working with data and creative strategy - able to operate across the marketing mix using innovative and creative marketing communications tactics to take plans to market
    Ö        Challenges the status quo utilising innovative tactics to design effective marketing programs
    Ö        Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task successfully and operate within time constraints
    Ö        Experience managing large marketing budgets
    Ö        Excellent communicator, strong interpersonal, influencing and networking skills
    Ö        A passion for consumer Telco/ Mobile/ Tech markets and consumers
    Ö        Ability to set goals, build strategy, develop plans and coordinate all relevant steps effectively
    Ö        Results driven
