The global online fashion product company is now seeking a HR Head for the India part of the business. With a global headcount of 500 and 130 in the India, the position reports to the Global HR Director and has line management responsibility for a team of 4. This position is based in our Bangalore office.

The Head of HR will be responsible for leading and delivering the India HR strategy in line with the global business plan. You will be working closely with the Global HR Director, whilst having a huge influence on the India strategy; you will also be responsible for the purely operational side of HR, driving the performance and culture within this fast growing and ever evolving creative business.

Key responsibilities will include:

Ö        Providing coaching and guidance to all India managers and employees on day-to-day HR related issues

Ö        Ensuring the business operates in line with all current Indian employment legislation

Ö        Implementing guidelines, policies, and procedures in line with the company direction

Ö        Managing employee relations, absence management, disciplinaries, grievances and employment records

Ö        Learning and development: Implement the L&D agenda; identify areas that need attention and improvement

Ö        Performance Management system - ensuring all staff receive quality appraisals, and that training needs are identified

Ö        As this is a fairly new business we are looking for a strong HR Generalist who has current or recent experience within a fast growing / start up technology business. You will be totally up to date on Indian employment law and legislation.

Job Purpose

The role of the Director of Pricing is to work with partner organisations to develop and lead the operation of a world-class system for the payment of financial services that helps drive improved quality and efficiency, in the interests of tax payers.

Context

Ö        The new Director of Pricing will be expected to take over the leadership of the team for the 2015 pricing cycle, to review progress to date, and to set out proposals on how to build on a good start and further develop the Pricing function, from good to great.

Ö        The Director of Pricing role requires a broad range of strategic, managerial and technical skills.

Ö        Our company will make sure that significant support is available to the Director of Pricing to transition into the new role in a managed way, with appropriate technical and other advice during the transition year of 2015.

Main Accountabilities

Ö        Work with the officials to design and negotiate long-term payment system reform (including leading overall programme design, and ensuring good results from individual research projects)

Ö        Ensure operational delivery of prices each year, starting with the 2016/17 prices

Ö        Lead the design and development of the pricing team, including effective team decision making processes

Ö        Lead the design and development of pricing infrastructure to promote a step change in the quality and use of data by decision makers, with particular focus on improving the collection, analysis and use of cost and price data

Ö        Engage effectively with stakeholders to improve and build support for the development and operation of the payment system

Ö        Develop and lead the approach to enforcement including: providing feedback to the sector, improving transparency, adherence to rules, and local modification agreements and applications

Our client is a highly ambitious Multi National electronics Mfg and retail business.  They are currently leading the market in multiple Innovative product areas, and already generating close to $8 Billion in product sales revenue.

Reporting into the Chairman and as part of an integrated senior management board, the CEO will develop, manage and execute the strategic sales and marketing plan for the business.  You will drive and lead sales growth into India. The CEO will help build on and increase margins and sales revenues in India.

Other key responsibilities are likely to include:

• Plan and direct the organisation’s activities to achieve stated/agreed targets and standards for financial and trading performance, quality, culture and legislative adherence.
• Maintain and develop organisational culture, engagement, values and reputation in its markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers, distributors and regulatory/official bodies.
• Set strategy, vision and values for the company and ensure that this is communicated and understood by all levels of the organisation
• Strengthen and build on the success of the existing staff and management team.
• Set capital allocation and budgets in line with strategy.
• Ensure the fiduciary duties and responsibilities of a company director are adhered to according to lawful and ethical standards.
• With a proven sales and marketing and company leadership background. 
• This role will suit established CEOs from an MNC background, or Sales and Marketing Directors looking for their first CEO position. 
• Ideally we are looking for candidates from an innovative product background, and for someone who has helped launched and sold product into India.  We will also consider candidates from other product industry also.
• Not risk averse, this person will need to share running the business with the CTO and COO, so you are a consummate net-worker and team player.
