The Role

This new and exciting executive appointment will have accountability for leadership and management of the supply chain function in the Middle East and North Africa.

Responsibilities

Ö        Leadership and management of the areas of responsibility including Planning, Demand Planning, Customer Services, Logistics and Procurement
Ö        Leadership of the Sales & Operations Planning Process
Ö        Shape, manage and motivate a management team of the highest calibre and collective ambition
Ö        Define a clear strategic and operating supply chain plan for Middle East and North Africa that supports the business models and positions supply chain as a competitive differentiator for Key Accounts
Ö        Implementation of Global policies and systems at the individual locations, working closely with Global colleagues to share best practice
Ö        Manage inventory optimization
Ö        Lead the evaluation of  current processes and set the improvement agenda
Ö        Drive  the customer service agenda both internationally and locally
Ö        Drive competitive costs for service provision
Ö        Deliver on compliance responsibilities (Quality, Legal, Financial, and Legislative) across the area of responsibility.

Responsibilities:

Ö        Leadership responsibilities of (Accounting, Finance, HR and IT).
Ö        Provide leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives of the company
Ö        Understand the organisation’s business model for generating customer value and translate this into operational metric measures for performance, whilst providing recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
Ö        Manage all processes for financial forecasting, budgeting and consolidation.
Ö        Reporting and presenting accurate and timely historical information of the company to the executive team and shareholders, whilst providing advice on financial implications of business activities.
Ö        Oversee the capital structure and financial condition of the company through considered risk and liquidity.
Ö        Maintain and grow existing and new partnerships with the banking community, financial analysts and shareholders in conjunction with the BoD.
Ö        Administer banking arrangements, loan agreements and maintain adequate sources of capital for the company’s current borrowings from commercial banks and other lending institutions as required, alongside investing company funds and administrating incentive stock options plans.
Ö        In liaison with the BoD, coordinate long-range plans of the company, assess the financial requirements implicit in these plans and develop alternative ways in which financial requirements can be satisfied.
Ö        Manage financial aspects of all company transactions including property bids, contracts and leases.
Ö        Work across multiple locations and time zones as required.
Ö        Ensure company compliance with financial regulations and standards in the India and at overseas locations as required.
Ö        Budgeting and expense control processes, collecting inputs and comparing company actual performance with budget estimates.
Ö        Undertaking economic strategy and forecasting and modelling, identifying organisational efficiencies and areas for improvement.
Person Specification:

o       Extensive experience of progressive experience in a major company or division of a large corporation in the commercial arena.

The global online fashion product company is now seeking a HR Head for the India part of the business. With a global headcount of 500 and 130 in the India, the position reports to the Global HR Director and has line management responsibility for a team of 4. This position is based in our Bangalore office.

The Head of HR will be responsible for leading and delivering the India HR strategy in line with the global business plan. You will be working closely with the Global HR Director, whilst having a huge influence on the India strategy; you will also be responsible for the purely operational side of HR, driving the performance and culture within this fast growing and ever evolving creative business.


Key responsibilities will include:

Location :-   Johnannesburg,Gauteng (South Africa)

Package :-   Base salary of 8 Figure Salary+ Bonus + Benefits


This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and highly successful mid-sized IT business providing Business Intelligence solutions and services.

The company is a market leader, with an exceptional reputation with its well established client base. The operation is successful but needs a fresh pair of eyes to identify profit and growth opportunities.

The role will take over overall management of this business unit, and will own the P&L. With an established team of high calibre staff, the role will focus on:

Ö        Driving the growth of high value services revenue
Ö        Effective business operations leadership and P&L management
Ö        Ensuring project management is executed effectively 
Ö        Effective management of the sales process
Ö        Identification of sources of higher margin business

In addition to building the business in existing markets, the incumbent will investigate the potential to take the business into new sectors, where market demand is compatible with the current range of offerings. The role will also involve identification and pursuit of acquisition targets.

This role will have a high degree of autonomy and will be very attractive for someone who wishes to “own” management of the business and there is considerable growth potential for a highly progressive person.

On offer is a base salary of INR 1.6C - 1.78Crores + Bonus + Benefits

Please check you meet the following mandatory requirements before applying:

Ö        Experience of either running a P&L, or of managing a  practice area and ready to take a bigger challenge – this will include solid  management experience and ability to demonstrate a good understanding of the “numbers” side of the business
Ö        Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence and data warehousing software and solutions
Ö        Experience working within an IT services, IT consulting or software business
Ö        Good experience of managing project teams, to ensure implementations are on time and within budget, taking a robust approach to client management
Ö        Sales management experience including running and managing a sales process - Candidates will not necessarily be sales people, but will have overseen the sales process and managed sales people. 
Ö        Ideally experience of the public sector and health sector
Ö        Demonstrate capability to open up new sources of revenue in other sectors 
Ö        Flexible to travel to client sites worldwide
