The purpose of this role is to identify, ensure alignment on and implement a Functional/Divisional talent and workforce plan that addresses both the strategic and operational talent needs of the business. 

Leads and manages all aspects of the HR function within his/her assigned Function/Division globally, while balancing, supporting and addressing Corporate, Area, Regional and Local needs, challenges and opportunities.

• Responsible for leading and coordinating all Human Resource support for the identified companies R&D division. Defines and aligns HR strategy and tactics to the overall business priorities of the R&D organization and effectively manages the execution of these initiatives to result in improved business performance.

• Serves as a strategic advisor to senior R&D Leader(s) for the business and partners with their respective management team to translate the commercial needs of the business into actionable, value add HR programs and initiatives that enable growth leadership.

• Serves as champions, leads or supports business initiatives focused on enhancing organization effectiveness, performance and talent, including but not limited to: Organization Design and Effectiveness, Organization and Capabilities Review (potential ratings, succession plans, development plans, and calibration sessions), Performance Management and Rewards, Training/Development (nominations, executive coaching), Employee Engagement, Diversity and Inclusion.

• Work closely with Franchise Heads and their respective leadership team on all organizational change initiatives (reorganizations, talent upgrades, promotions, reductions in force, performance improvement plans, separations and related communications).

• Ensure that organizational change efforts are managed effectively and in a legally defensible manner.

• First line contact for clients regarding all human resource activities. Effectively coordinate overall HR support to ensure that client’s needs are met in timely, high-quality fashion for staffing, employee relations, compensation, salary planning, training/ development, recognition/reward, relocation and other HR related services.

• Provide services directly to R&D Leadership team or act as liaison between clients and the companies COEs and/or HR Services team. Active member of leadership team for client groups.

• Advise and influence all levels of management on all aspects of people management and leadership. Consult with R&D Leadership Team members, leadership teams, directors, managers and supervisors on strategic business initiatives and assesses impact on employees. Actively participate in staff meetings and business meetings and other business action teams as assigned.

• Participate on various project teams and manage various other tasks as assigned by Global Head, R&D Human Resources.



Experience

15+ years of progressive human resource experience or a combination of human resource and business experience. Significant experience in various HR disciplines, including OE/OD, talent assessment/development/coaching, compensation and rewards, Employee Relations, and change management, Demonstrated ability to influence, strong business acumen and experience with commercial organizations , Demonstrated analytical capability and understanding.

Working with the management team, the Director –Project Management will ensure that appropriate resources are allocated to priority projects, whilst balancing the requirements set by long-term strategy with the day-to-day project management activities across each region. The role will involve a considerable amount of influencing as well as direct responsibility for the team of project managers.

The successful candidate will be flexible, ambitious and able to work in a changing and international environment. The role requires an energetic individual to provide leadership, build and motivate the team, and deliver highly complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
- The Director –Project Management is a key member of the Leadership Team, responsible for the delivery of all significant new and ongoing New Product Development projects.

- Recruit senior level project managers  for high value, priority projects such as integration activities associated with acquisition, and reorganization/restructuring activities.

-Manage and drive multiple projects to time and cost, assuming complete responsibility for all associated budgets and resources.

-Act as mentor and coach to a team of project managers, taking responsibility for their training and development by providing structured development opportunities to ensure the team continually improves its expertise.

-Develop and implement unified project management processes and business systems.
Report on the status of major projects to the management team.

-The Director –Project Management will be expected to play a key role in supporting the long-term growth in value of the Business Unit.


The Role
The key purpose of the role is to ensure that all significant projects are driven to time and cost, whilst ensuring that a unified approach is applied to all significant new and ongoing projects.

The role will include the following duties:
- Work with the Engineering and Business Development & Strategy Directors to deliver all significant new and ongoing New Product Development  projects.
- Work alongside the Global Engineering VPs/Directors team across the Business Unit to develop best practice across the organisation.
- Implement standard project management processes and software for the management of all major New Product Development  projects across the Business Unit.
- Various project work for the Engineering and Managing Directors (eg, for integration and reorganisation/restructuring activities).
- Establish effective governance mechanisms for project decision-making, and for appropriate escalation of information to the management team.
- Implement key governance mechanisms to ensure project management processes are robust, aligned and effective.
- Review the impacts of projects on the whole business and ensure compliance (with regulation, etc.) across all functions and processes.
- Reporting on the status of all major and other projects to the management team.

Key Qualifications
- Degree educated, with a subsequent project management related professional qualification.
- Experience of managing and delivering cross-functional programmes/projects.
- Ability to lead other project managers to deliver on time, on budget and to exceptional quality standards.
- Excellent knowledge of Project Management techniques and processes.
- Detailed knowledge of advanced NPD management systems and tools.
- An ability to develop effective working relationships across all levels within the organisation.
- A flexible hands-on approach with lots of initiative.
- Ability to multi-task in a complex environment.
- Ability to work on several projects, prioritise tasks, whilst delivering on time.
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills; oral and written.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills.
- High level of integrity and ethics.

The Candidate
- Demonstrable experience in a managerial-level role, demonstrating proven track record of managing large, complex projects.
- Applicants must have prior experience working as a programme/project manager, handling high value project delivery in a cross-functional team environment.
Experience of working in a cross-cultural and multinational environment - preferably within a multi-site/multi-business manufacturing sector.
- Strong people management skills, with the ability to manage, motivate and lead teams in a structured and coordinated way, whilst acting as a positive role model & coach.

The CEO  is reporting directly to the Executive Committee and with ultimate accountability to Board of Directors, this individual will provide leadership and management of key functions across all regions. This will include work with merchant leadership, corporate partners (sponsors), government entities, public relations, law enforcement and the internal company staff.  Day to day responsibilities include the following:


Business Planning

· Development of an annual strategic plan which effectively outlines the activities, functions and capabilities that support the mission and vision of the organization.  Created with participation by the Executive Committee (subset of the Board of Directors), develop and successfully obtain ratification by the Board of Directors.

· Develop an operating plan (full operating year) and seek ratification by the Board of Directors that sets specific program, financial and other related goals to be achieved by the organization, and approved by the Board

· Set a tactical plan that contains quarterly goals and criteria to measure success, that deliver specific results to achieve the annual operating plan

Reporting
· Provide bi-monthly updates to the Board of Directors on progress achieved against the tactical and operating plan
· Monthly meetings with the Executive Committee to provide status reports and updates on work streams, and raise strategic issues to be addressed by the board
· Present progress reports on programs, financial and operating plans at board meetings

Staff Management
· Build and direct a highly functioning team to deliver against goals and objectives contained within the operating and tactical plans
· Communicate and hold accountable clear and specific goals and objectives
· Constantly assess the organization’s progress in delivering against a value proposition that provides clear benefit to all constituents

Skills
- The ideal candidate will have, at minimum fifteen years of related work experience.   
-Non-profit / trade association experience (professional or volunteer roles) desired but not required.  
-S/he will also have a successful track record in relationship development and management and personal or professional experience working with executives at all levels.

Due to a strategic reorganization a market leading contract research organisation is now looking to expand their Pharmaceutical Testing sales team.Where competitors have consolidated and downsized, this organisation has seized opportunities and looked strategically at continuous improvement with their operating strategy to become the customer service leader in each of the markets they operate in with the aim of being recognised as the market leader in the provision of essential, value added testing services.

The Role
Reporting to the CEO, you will be expected to analyse market opportunities within the Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences markets for Pharmaceutical chemistry and microbiology testing.

The target for this role will be to strategically position the business as the premier choice for Pharmaceutical Testing within the country, pivotal to this organisations success is the scientific knowledge of the industry but also the commercial acumen to direct the organisation within the market.

You will be fully supported by a national sales network, an operational team renowned for adding value through their knowledge and the reputation of a long lasting organisation which have historically always been a competitor for high quality service.


The Requirements
Paramount to everything, this is a commercial opportunity. Candidates must have a consistent track record of senior leadership at this level. A strong commercial acumen, the ability to negotiate and a comprehensive knowledge of the market are essential.

Candidates with previous experience working within the Pharmaceutical Contract Testing Market would be at a real advantage.

Our client is a leading provider of payment solutions and is expanding rapidly specialising in providing corporations with cross-border payment solutions which solve the most common problems presented by traditional payment methods.

To support its international expansion, our client is recruiting an experienced and motivated Sales Director for the Foreign Exchange services vertical.

Purpose of the role
Reporting to the CEO, the newly appointed Sales Director will be fully responsible for uncovering and closing new opportunities within the Foreign Exchange services vertical (typically brokers, banks, white label providers and others), driving the sales of the company's products first in the Country, achieving & exceeding the objectives set by the management team and sustaining profitable growth.

Key objectives
- Develop selling proposition into the Foreign Exchange services segment
- Produce sales plan for the financial period
- Identify new opportunities for their products in the Financial Services segment
- Develop the initial sales pipeline through contacts in the market
- Generate revenues and match/ exceed KPI expectations
- As revenues grow, build-up and manage the sales team in the country
- Develop and propose to the management team the international sales expansion Plan
- Drive the opening of new offices according to the expansion plan
- Drive the build-up and manage the international sales team to reach the  business plan objectives
- Liaise with the product development team, providing clients feedback and supporting the planning of new products features

The Candidate
- Highly motivated, self-starter leader with a mature and positive attitude
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment

Requirements
- 15+ year of relevant experience/ track record in a B2B sales role within the Foreign Exchange industry is essential
- Experience managing a sales team, with a proven performance track record
- Gravitas to lead a multinational sales team with excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels
- Strong network, in the country and internationally, within the Foreign Exchange brokers, Banks and white label providers community
- Willingness to travel first within the country, than internationally (50%)

- Familiar with MS Dynamics CRM a plus.
