REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS 

The Group President, reports to the President and Chief Executive Officer of our leadership stage executive solutions client company. 

The position has a General Manager for each of the above referenced business units and the group staff, consisting of a Chief Financial Officer, Human Resources Director, Innovations Director, Operations & Engineering Director, IT Director, Regulatory Director, Marketing Director and Purchasing Director. 




SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

The Group President - Food FMCG Beverages Brand will provide leadership and have full P&L responsibility for an organization. He/she will be accountable for the organization’s overall growth, competitive advantage and long-term position as a leading developer, manufacturer and marketer of food fmcg beverages brands. 


Additional responsibilities of the Group President will also include the following: 


  • Provide leadership for all commercial activity and operations for the Food Fmcg Beverages business unit.
  • Manage the Group’s P&L to ensure realization of profit and expense targets.
  • Develop and execute the unit’s overall growth strategy in alignment with that of the Our leadership stage executive solutions client organization as a whole.
  • Manage, direct and monitor the daily operating activities of the company with a view to maximizing the value and profitability of the organization; delve deeply into operational issues and develop creative solutions.
  • Drive and continually enhance the organization’s overall strategy for differentiation through quality and service while closely managing costs.
  • Evaluate the results of overall operations regularly and systematically and establishes the key performance indicators and financial metrics that will be used to manage the business.

In addition to a well-rounded background in operations, technology and financial acumen, the ideal candidate will possess the following: 


  • Minimum of 15+ years of business experience in P&L leadership positions of increasing levels of responsibility within a high value add, non-commodity manufacturing organization.

Reporting to the President of our global consumer goods business unit, the Human Resources Director provides proactive leadership, direction, and professional expertise in all areas of human resources management for all of  our consumer goods global locations, but with an emphasis on staffing and recruiting, talent management, and employee and labor relations. This executive will provide hands-on human resources leadership as a strong business partner within the organization and will clearly define programs and policies that can drive human resources management practices to support the achievement of revenue and profit goals.   • Lead the short and long term strategies of the business unit by assessing the business needs, processes and policies, and develop a pro-active, responsive, and integrated human resources function that aligns practices and policies across all facilities and locations.
  • Assume proactive leadership and direction of all human resources policies and programs with an ongoing emphasis on staffing and recruitment, talent management, and employee and labor relations.
  • Establish a consultative relationship with the President and key executives of the business unit at headquarters and other sites and geographies to ensure compliance with organization policies, procedures, and legal obligations on a global scale.
  • Define and realize cost efficiencies from the application of effective staffing, talent management, and other human resource functions at all levels of the business unit in collaboration with key executives and managers across all locations.
  • Recommend and implement human resources plans and programs that will assist the business in the achievement of targets in revenue growth and profitability.
  • Review and recommend compensation and benefits programs that manage costs and increase productivity across the business unit, are consistent with maintenance of employee motivation, and in compliance with corporate policies.
  • Review and update management and organization development programs and succession planning as appropriate across the business unit.
  • Supervise, mentor, and provide continuous training and support for the global Human Resources team.
  • Enhance existing training and development platforms across the business and recommend improvements and modifications as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable international, national, state, and local regulations and laws on an optimal cost basis.

SKILLS & ABILITIES: 


  • This individual must be able to define human resources strategy and program development as a member of a management team, while also proactively addressing the hands-on tactical and HR operational needs of the business organization at all levels.
  • This executive will be experienced in positioning the human resources function and department as a strategic business partner with executives across the organization and implementing human resource changes to achieve business results.
  • While this executive will be adept at the formulation of effective programs, they will also have demonstrated common sense, maturity, and sound judgment in addressing business issues.




EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 


  • Minimum of 15 years of broad-based human resources experience with increasingly significant levels of responsibility involving major business decisions.
  • Additionally, at least 10 years of recent generalist human resources experience.
  • An undergraduate degree is required for this position, and an MBA would be considered a strong asset.
  • Professional expertise in leading the development and implementation of effective programs in all key and traditional areas of human resources management, with particular strengths in recruitment, staffing, talent management, organizational development and labor relations is required for this position.

The Role

As Marketing Director, the job will entail the following key functions, essential to leading our marketing practice and ensuring our business growth:



Responsibilities

Inbound Strategy - ensuring an "Always - On" Marketing Engine

  • We have recently undergone some strategic changes to approach our marketing in a more holistic, sustainable, long-term structure
  • It will be your responsibility to drive and contribute to the new initiatives by continuing with the internal processes and structures we have put in place relating to:
  • Sales & marketing alignment
  • Content marketing (thought-leadership)
  • Content creation
  • Content distribution
  • Social media (particularly Linkedin for social selling)
  • Lead nurturing
  • PR
  • Integrated campaigns


  • This includes running weekly team meetings, managing the content calendar, managing the events calendar, staying on top of & directing the Company around content ideas and thought-leadership, and ensuring that our “always-on” marketing engine remains well fueled!



Campaign and Vendor Management

  • As well as inbound marketing activities, we also run multiple outbound marketing campaigns throughout the year, to achieve specific lead-generation objectives
  • Part of this management involves building strong relationships with our vendors to ensure we are initiating joint marketing activities, as well as running our own
  • You will be overseeing, and will contribute to, ensuring that these campaigns each have a solid strategy, fully formed target markets and buyer personas, on-target messaging, and that anything we send out is unique to us and what we do (not “out of a box)
  • This will include managing a budget for campaigns, working closely with vendors who may be part funding campaigns, overseeing suppliers, ensuring successful campaign execution, and driving follow up actions with the sales team


Management and Process

  • You will be responsible for ensuring our marketing systems and processes are running smoothly and all talk to one another. This will be a mix of our social media tools, CRM and marketing automation platforms
  • You will be in charge of overall marketing budget management so will need to supply regular budget and ROI reports to senior management to track progress
  • As well as being instrumental in delivery of some marketing activities, you will also have a team of marketers, content writers, agencies, PR etc to manage who you need to keep working efficiently, providing you with everything you need to manage a successful marketing practice

  • At least 15+ years experience

  • Experience with inbound and outbound marketing techniques, including digital marketing, SEO/SEM, content strategy, social media and lead nurturing etc.
  • Used to working closely with Sales, to drive better outcomes for them
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence to drive a whole Company movement, ensuring everyone is assisting you with what you need e.g. thought-leadership
  • Proven track record of accomplishment in developing successful marketing strategies and plans
  • Experience with managing multiple projects, brands and campaigns
  • Persistence and resourcefulness are also important if you’re to get through to, and engage with, busy senior people
  • Must be independent, self-motivated and success-driven, yet willing to work within a team environment.



Desirable criteria

  • Experience working with CMS such as Wordpress, Drupal
  • Experience with working with email or automation platforms e.g. Mailchimp or automation such as HubSpot or Marketo

The Big Job

  • You will be a member of the board, and along with the company founders and CEO, you will be an inspirational driving force behind the continued growth and success of our client - a leader and ambassador for company both internally with the development team and wider staff and externally with stakeholders and clients at all levels
  • You will lead, manage and motivate a brilliant team of developers and technology experts to make our client a true success as well as recruiting the future bright lights of the company
  • You will manage the product development strategy and will represent the company’s external face on all technical innovation and product development
  • Client project delivery, optimizing SDLC with Sales and Account Management, whilst maintaining client centered approach
  • In parallel to client project delivery, develop Product Development Capability and embed PDLC (part-pure R+D, part of this is linked to Client Delivery e.g. reusable/modular components to accelerate project dev)
  • You will communicate a strategic vision for the organisation being able to articulate and present a clear and polished message for the further innovations and developments the company looks to make
  • Internally you will take responsibility for all things technology - managing all technical teams, client project delivery, operations and the future transition programmes from bespoke to product based software
  • You will provide an expert technical angle for the company’s strategic road-map moving forward and will provide recommendations and advise on future products and technologies, through continually staying abreast of market trends and through personal market knowledge
  • You will have significant responsibility in ensuring that the existing close-knit culture of success is maintained and applied through transition and growth periods
  • You will structure the team so it is fit for purpose for the growth ambitions (BA, testing, Infra, Dev inc 3rd party suppliers)


What you will have

  • A background in senior -level software engineering/development with demonstrable skills in liaising between highly technical development teams, business and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the SaaS sector, bespoke development and product software engineering
  • A genuine energy and passion for our client’s future and a strong belief in the future growth and success of the business
  • An enthusiasm for the long-term goals of the business
  • 1st class communication and collaboration skills as well as the credibility to manage highly skilled technology professionals and to present an articulate and professional external image of the company
  • A proven track-record of working at the forefront of software development technology ideally where there has been a transition of bespoke to product-focused development
  • Experience of operating at a senior-level, ideally of building a business within a growing and ambitious organisation
  • Proven track record of leading product development in the software
  • Evidence of successfully managing, leading and recruiting successful teams within a fast-growing business


What you might have…

  • 15+ years of experience in a software house specializing in bespoke systems for multiple organisations in a number of diverse and exciting sectors
  • Proven track record in transitioning a growing business
