Job Description
Development for online statements requiring skills with strong JAVA and Tapestry (or any other Java based web application framework ) exposure.
Person must have more than hands-on experience of test driven development using JUnit (or any other unit testing framework) and mocking framework (like easyMock).
Exposure to frameworks like Hibernate, hivemind and liquibase will be added advantage.
Person willing to work across multiple technologies (Sun + Microsoft + XSLT/regular expressions) will be a great add on to the team.
Principal Accountabilities
Mainly responsible for code development activities under JAVA (Tapestry)/hibernate
Will be required to do test driven development using JUnit.
Closely work with Technical lead for project deliverables
Responsible for delivering quality work.
Should be able to do development as per standards.
Should be able to work in agile mode.
S/he should be able to understand business requirements ( as use cases, Features )
Desired Candidate Profile
Knowledge/Experience developing with Java Applications
Should be willing to take work challenges independently and able to adjust work priorities with personal commitments. Person should be willing to work across multiple technologies (Sun + Microsoft + XSLT/regular expressions).Experience with agile development preferred.
End to end experience across the entire software development lifecycle
Track record of shipping production ready software
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a project team in a cooperative effort
