Our leading International retailer client is seeking a 38 Female/Male Merchandiser-Fresher and Experienced(0 to 6 Years )to join its successful team. Location:- Bangalore,Delhi, Mumbai,Chennai and HyderabadThe successful candidate will have the ability and experience to take accountability for effective range building and merchandise planning, including the delivery of sales, stock and profit within agreed stock targets.
The Merchandiser will work closely with the Buying team to respond to departmental trading performance, ensuring that all Merchandising practices are executed in a timely and effective manner.
You will also be expected to:
· Manage and review market group stock budgets to ensure that they match Sales plans
· Agree the forecast and track new lines ensuring appropriate sign off, taking action to increase/reduce ranging where performance dictates
· Analyse and agree the impact of space and range in conjunction with commercial finance ensuring appropriate provisions are made in the budgeting process
· Support strategic direction for space and agree the associated budget impact
· Develop plans to ensure that stock is in the right stores, maximizing the commercial opportunities for the product
· Ensure that category stock holding is in line with budget and forecast and manage intake and open to buy accordingly
· Make commercial recommendations on supplier performance
· Work closely with the Supply Chain teams to ensure best sellers are optimized
The ideal candidate will have:
· A degree or equivalent
· Experience as a Merchandiser or Senior Merchandiser within Fashion
· Wssi management, OTB budgeting experience
· Strong analytical skills
· Confidence working with high SKU numbers
