Our Client is a growing alternative asset management firm with operations all over the world. They are currently looking to add a Tax manager  to their in house tax group.


Job description

The Tax Manager will be responsible for:

- Full cycle ownership of partnership compliance for the funds and investors

- Analysis of securities such as wash sales, straddles, and constructive sales, etc.

- Working with and learning from the head the head of tax on all transaction and planning work

- Acting as a liaison between accounting firms, and outside tax counsel


Who we are looking for

The Tax Manager should have:

- Significant  tax experience in the asset management space, specifically hedge funds or private equity experience

- CPA and or MST are preferred

- Big 4 background is preferred, but not necessary

 Needs to be able to self motivate and work autonomously
