Job Purpose

The role of the Director of Pricing is to work with partner organisations to develop and lead the operation of a world-class system for the payment of financial services that helps drive improved quality and efficiency, in the interests of tax payers.

Context

Ö        The new Director of Pricing will be expected to take over the leadership of the team for the 2015 pricing cycle, to review progress to date, and to set out proposals on how to build on a good start and further develop the Pricing function, from good to great.

Ö        The Director of Pricing role requires a broad range of strategic, managerial and technical skills.

Ö        Our company will make sure that significant support is available to the Director of Pricing to transition into the new role in a managed way, with appropriate technical and other advice during the transition year of 2015.

Main Accountabilities

Ö        Work with the officials to design and negotiate long-term payment system reform (including leading overall programme design, and ensuring good results from individual research projects)

Ö        Ensure operational delivery of prices each year, starting with the 2016/17 prices

Ö        Lead the design and development of the pricing team, including effective team decision making processes

Ö        Lead the design and development of pricing infrastructure to promote a step change in the quality and use of data by decision makers, with particular focus on improving the collection, analysis and use of cost and price data

Ö        Engage effectively with stakeholders to improve and build support for the development and operation of the payment system

Ö        Develop and lead the approach to enforcement including: providing feedback to the sector, improving transparency, adherence to rules, and local modification agreements and applications

* Ideal candidates will have extensive Oil and Gas industry knowledge working within the 

   International markets, with infrequent changes in role. 

* The candidate should have a strong Project Management background working on projects 

    worth in excess of $300 Million. It is essential the candidate has at least 15 years of 

    experience whilst in a Project Management function.

Bangalore  -    INR    24800000 - 26760000 per Annum + Benefits

Singapore  -  SGD        606000 -    648400 per Annum + Benefits

  

The Role

The Chief Financial Controller  will be responsible for the timely reporting of all external financial results and information of the Group in a manner that conforms to the relevant accounting standard (IFRS). This includes production of consolidated Group Financial reports according to strict timelines, preparation and submission of Statutory Returns for all Group entities within prescribed deadlines as well as management of external audit reviews.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee the production and reporting of the Group's Interim and Half and Full year results and relevant disclosure to the FSA and other external stakeholders

* Preparation of the monthly report to the Board of Directors

* Devising, reviewing and updating financial policies, systems and processes to provide senior management with accurate MIS reports (including financial statements) for them to be able to take timely decisions. Regular interaction with other department heads to discuss budget to actual variance analysis.

* Coordinate the preparation of Investor and Board Presentations

* Providing support and any necessary response to financial queries raised through the Group's Investor Relation function

* Developing, implementing and reviewing financial strategies including budgeting and 

  forecasting, cost control and expense reviews and providing strategic input on Finance    related matters with regards to new business developments.

* Ensure timely submission of returns to the regulators, tax authorities, exchanges (wherever 

   applicable)

* Support on corporate governance and risk management work as directed (eg DOA, internal 

   audit, etc)

* Preparation of the Group's Annual Report

* Managing external service providers in relation to preparation of financial statements for 

  consolidated Group entities and ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of their outputs.

The Candidate

* Must be a team player with a positive attitude with the ability to work under their own initiative

* Ability to prioritise and multitask and operate in a dynamic/ever-changing environment

* Detailed understanding of IFRS accounting Standards

* Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role or from within a Big 4 Accountancy Firm

* Good attention to detail and ability to deliver to strict deadlines

* Broad financial modelling and analytical skills

* Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills with experience of working with Senior 

* Executives, board members and shareholders.
