As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including the Program Coordinator-18 positions at our facility in Paramus, NJ.
OBJECTIVE:
Administers activities concerned with contracts for purchase or sale of equipment, materials, products, or services. The incumbent interfaces daily with the customer (on the customer site or off-site), and is responsible for managing and developing customer relationships by resolving product/service issues in a timely manner; addressing routine customer requests, placing customer orders, quoting non-contract requirements, processing/facilitating RMAs and performing order expediting as necessary. The interfacing may include resolving strategic and tactical issues.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will assist the Program Manager as requested:
* Ensures the achievement of assigned financial and organizational goals by servicing and maintaining existing accounts while proactively developing new accounts through capitalization of sales opportunities.
* Serves as the liaison between the customer and various internal
Consumables Management departments and provides product/service
information to customers to ensure they receive world-class service. This
includes advising CM finance/accounting department of change in contract
performance and audit of inventory levels and performance; interfacing with
the customer and CM departments regarding quality control and the
purchase of inventory
* Has decision making authority as it relates to daily program support related
to contractual obligations.
* Performs to the terms of the contract (i.e. legal and contractual terms)
Negotiates PO's and pricing daily with the customer
* Works closely with the Purchasing and Operations departments to establish
commitment dates and manage the flow of information to the customer.
* Review daily the open order report to ensure stock is available to the
customer when required.
* Works to reduce past due orders and takes a proactive approach to
preventing orders from becoming delinquent
* Assist the Program Manager in developing and implementing strategic
initiatives (i.e. line delivery efficiencies, product flow and product
improvement efficiencies)
* Monitor, maintain, and expand Value Added Service programs and assists
Program Manager with various program-related tasks such as new
adds/changes to program(s)
* Management of assigned customer accounts by processing of RFQs, enters
orders, handles customer requests for stock status, pricing, follow-up and
reschedules
* Establishing and developing close relationships with the customer, resulting
in gained market share.
* Research the business activities of the customer and give findings to the
Program Manager
* Pro-actively contacts customers to follow-up on outstanding quotes and may
also solicit additional orders
* May provide guidance and training to Program Administrators
* Responsible for achieving monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals and
margin/review goals
* Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related fields
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and/or customer service
* Minimum of one (1) years sales or program management experience working
with customers in the Aerospace industry
* Knowledge of Just in Time (JIT) inventory management processes and
philosophies
* Strong customer service background and sales goal orientation
* Fluency in English required.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to make proactive calls to
customers to get additional business
* Proven ability to analyze data and successfully develop and execute project
plans
* Proficient knowledge in all MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) applications
* Efficient communication flow, both internally and towards outside parties
* Experience developing and delivering presentations to both customers,
public groups, and internal organizations (i.e. top management, boards of
directors, etc
* Ability to project a positive image of the company
