Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for managing and leading various Business Process Management deliverables in defined project scopes.
Projects can vary in type and scope, such as IT system implementations of custom or off-the-shelf products or process improvement initiatives. The role will support all phases of projects, from initial envisioning through planning and design phases to implementation and support.
The role will include (but is not limited to) the following activities:
- Work on complex projects with integrated project steps, many with multiple sub-plans
- Work with global teams, leveraging conference calls and other tools for global collaboration across time zones
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures and policies regarding project management or support activities, to determine appropriate action
- Create plans to conduct Business Process Management activities according to define policies and procedures.
- Manage a team of indirect global reports in a matrix environment
- Deliver formal project reports to communicate status, results, and technical documentation to users, other support groups and executive leadership
Applicants must be proactive individuals, only self-starter personalities will be successful. Ability to successfully navigate through ambiguity is a big plus.
Some international travel may be required
- Lean Six Sigma certified Black Belt required. Master Black Belt highly preferred
- Experience in Design For Six Sigma highly preferred
- Experience with Business Process Management highly preferred
- Experience with Discrete Event Simulation software highly
preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT and/or Six Sigma projects within Finance related functions. Minimum 2 years in a Black Belt capacity in a Finance or IT environment.
- Strong project Management skills. PMP or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong mentoring experience within a Lean Six Sigma environment. Formal training experience preferred
- Ability to influence without authority
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English language. Ability to communicate at an Executive level
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, IT, Math, Statistics or Engineering required. Master’s degree preferred.
