A Global organisation supplying Business and Financial information,
Financial Markets knowledge and Technology solutions seek an
experienced TV Maintenance Engineer to join a Global division within
their London offices.
Position Overview
As part of the TV Maintenance Team, you will provide systems support
of broadcast TV and video production/ delivery systems.
The Role
We are looking for a self-motivated individual, with broad expertise in
all areas of Television engineering.
* Manage & provide daily Support & Monitoring for all appropriate systems.
* Field news coverage technologies.
* Video/ File conversion, transmission and transfer technologies.
* Video Server systems.
* Newsroom Information and Communication systems.
* Live studio video production systems.
You will be expected to follow a Change Management process according
to global corporate best practices.
Education
An Undergraduate degree, relevant professional training, or equivalent
experience required
Essential Skills
* Excellent knowledge of Server based production, editing and
delivery systems.
* Broadcast TV maintenance experience or education.
* In-depth knowledge of video/audio file standards and characteristics.
* Good background in Network architecture and topologies.
* HDSDI video routing infrastructure.
* Professional satellite reception infrastructure.
* Solid working knowledge of internet security, firewalls, and
server technology.
* Excellent problem diagnosis and troubleshooting.
* Component level electrical and electronic maintenance.
* Excellent customer-facing written and verbal communication.
* Proven ability to train others.
Desirable Skills
* Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
* Avid ACSR Certification.
* Cisco CCNA/CCNP.

a requirement in this role.
