Research Assistant/Associate, Biochemistry
We are looking for outstanding candidates with skills and knowledge in the
fields of biochemistry and enzymology. The position involves development
and implementation of low- and high-throughput biochemical assays to
predict enzyme performance in a variety of industrial applications.
Additional duties include protein purification and characterization, and a
demonstrated understanding of enzyme kinetics and assays is a plus.
The ideal candidate would be:
motivated and creative
have strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
be capable of working both independently and in a collaborative setting.
You are qualified if you meet the following requirements
Bachelor/Master’s degree in biochemistry, chemistry, Pharma or a
related field.
Practical lab experience in an academic, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology
setting
Strong analytical and organizational skills are highly desirable as would be
a background in experiment design and data analysis.
The successful candidate must be motivated, creative, have strong problem
solving and critical thinking skills, and be capable of working independently
or in a collaborative setting.
Strong record keeping skills with excellent attention to detail
