They need to have some Java Coding exp!! These are AUTOMATION engineers, not manual testers.
Please also try to find CN's with JUnit or Test NG, both would be great!
Responsibilities will include:
Helping with test planning
Code reviews
Review of automated test cases generated by vendor
Writing automated test cases using Java – will be doing somecoding in Java
Assisting with automated test rack maintenance
Plus would be any STB Testing Experience
Experience with JUnit, Maven, Subversion or TestNG!!!
